We need an option to clone VM - in order to just have different settings of the vm, or build a new one with the same settings. currently - it CLONES the whole zvol as well, which, depending on the number of zvols in the macnihe can take time to clean up. There should be a simple checkpoint to choose to either clone zvols too, or not to do it
You’re talking about the current TrueNAS version, but the next one is moving to an entirely different setup for VMs and it doesn’t even have the option to clone VMs! It may come one day in the future, but…
