Not enough space in homedirectory to copy files

Hello Everybody

Im new into TrueNAS and everything works almost perfectly tough I walked probably into a configuration mistake.

I copied 33GB of Files succesfully onto the NAS into my users homedirectory. Now when I want to copy another 200GB my system tells me it need 8GB more space to copy the files. I installed 2x8TB and mirrored them.

I created a user whom I can access my NAS with and gave a Quota of 8TiB.

The user has access to the home directory which I will use to store all my files.

This is my setup:
TrueNAS 25.04.1 running on a 1TB SDD
2x8TB HDDs which are mirrored
A N150 Intel CPU and 16GB of DDR4 RAM

I guess there is another setting somewhere to limit the homedirectory size but I cant find it.

I searched the web and read some of the manuals but didnt find any solutions.

What is the user’s home directory? It would need to be on your pool if you’re planning to use that 8 TB of space.

The users home directory is:
Home Directory: /mnt/MiniPC/marco
I got one dataset called MiniPC which has 31Gib used and 7TB available
The dataset is being used by the system and shared with SMB

Ok I solved the problem by mounting the NAS in Windows 11 with another networkdrive button. So it should be a Windows 11 problem and not a TrueNAS problem. I used a connection to a network adress which caused the problem, now I use a connection to a network drive which solved the problem. So theres a difference between mounting a network adress and network drive in Windows 11.
