Currently stuck with file permissions with file browser. I can install it, set it up and access it, but can’t enter into the share it’s assigned to. Keep getting the ‘permission not allowed.’ I’ve added the www-data user and group to the share and can get smb services working, but I cannot get this app set up.
Seems like half the apps on truenas are annoyingly buggy…
Have you tried giving the apps user (568) access to the share? That is the default user and group when installing File Browser, unless you changed it to something else.
Hey, thanks for responding. I ended up giving the folder the apps group permission (didn’t know that 568 was apps) to the folder. That seemed to work! Thanks!
