Plugin_dispatch_values: Low water mark reached. Dropping 100% of metrics

Hello,
I couldn’t access my shares and the administration interface, so I connected using IPMI. I launched an ikvm console, and on it there’s the message :
“plugin_dispatch_values: Low water mark reached. Dropping 100% of metrics” which is added line after line continuously every second or so.
I’ve tried a reboot, but the SSD (system) doesn’t seem to be responding. So no reboot.

The problem with all this is that I already had the problem a few months ago. At that time, I changed my SSD, reinstalled the system and re-imported my config+pool.

Does anyone have any idea where this might be coming from and how to fix it?
At the moment the system is inaccessible. I need to reinstall the system and re-import my config.

You should post a detailed hardware and software list. OS version? What is the pool layout? What applications run?

Did you post about the previous problem? If not, give details.

I’ve updated my signature.
Sorry, I don’t remember version 13.0 U6.1 or .2
I don’t have access anymore because the system won’t boot.

No, I didn’t post a message. I thought my ssd was down, I replaced it.
I still have the old SSD, I’m going to test it to see if it’s really out of order.

Hello,

I confirm that is truenas core 13.0 U6.1.

do you know where it might be coming from?
What should I do to find the source?

Maybe start by running Memtest or using IPMI to test your hardware. You can try booting a Live Linux USB or ISO to see if the system boots otherwise.

Are you getting any hints or ideas of where it is stopping upon booting while watching iKVM console?

I was going to reinstall everything with truenas 13.0 U6.7 (import my config + my data pool).

Do you think I should look first ?

You can attempt to do a fresh Core install but you still need to diagnose and find the problem you have.

yes, but how?

Because you have been through two different boot devices with the same problem, I believe you have a hardware problem. If you aren’t using bad SSDs, check the cable and port you have them attached to. If you still have your spare SSD, you could try swapping them and doing the fresh install and reloading the config.

You can try booting but we can’t see where you are stopping on the console, Maybe try posting images if you think the messages are helpful.

You can start by seeing if your IPMI has a through hardware test built in and try running it. Try looking at the logs in IPMI and see what errors it reports before the logs fill.

You can try getting up to date downloads from Supermicro for that motherboard.
