Can someone explain to me clearly what is the best thing to do now.
Received the alert below this morning, see photo.
System was quite confused what got no disks showing.
I checked the cables and restarted truenas ElectricEel-24.10.0.2.
Now the 3 backup disks are visible again, see picture.
But can I add them to a new pool again without data loss?
What pool BackUps is no longer visible.
By the way, should I assume that out of the three disks, two disks are bad or broken?
I’ve seen this alert before. It’s basically says that your hard drive needs attention, check cable connections or drive itself. It does not indicate an immediate death for the drive, but might be close. Mine got tons of checksum errors and pool death after a few weeks. Luckily, I backup the pool after seeing this, so no data loss.
The photo shows that 2 disks might be broken or near death, you should not trust them before a complete test
It’s possible to mount the pool again after a reboot, data might still be fine for now, but you need to backup the data on the falling pool ASAP, to prevent data losses, my suggestion is to get new drive, backup everything, then think about how to test the drives inside the failing pool. You should also check the power supply.
I run into the problem that when I want to add the exported pool it deletes all the date, see picture.
When expanding I get failed, see picture.
I want to first restore everything and then immediately put a new disk, have one. (5)|690x328 (4)|690x329
If your pool has been exported you need to IMPORT it to get it back without removing the data.
In your first picture the button is called Pool Importeren and is in the top right corner.
Something is well wrong.
Hed just added a new disk but now see that the CCTV hdd placed new last week is now also not reachable, see picture.
Could this be in the kables or as was said the power supply? (6)|690x327
