Proxmox + pfSense + Truenas (always the same error)

I recently got a job at a company.
The entire network infrastructure of the company was done by another person, he quit and is unavailable.

There are two Proxmox (all the company’s servers are on them) on one hosting. ip-(*.X.X.:8585)

And there is a third Proxmox (for backups) on another hosting ip-(..X.:8787)

On all three PVE - installed (pfSense)

I googled on the Internet for almost a month, trying to figure out pFsense
(I had not worked with it before).
I tried to create backups directly from one pve to another.
This is the most logical and obvious way (after all, there is a large selection of storage types in the pve menu)
But it did not work.

First, please tell me, can I create backups from one pve to another (in a different subnet)???
If so, then this will be enough for me. But it is hardly possible (I can’t change file systems on enabled pve)
all VM servers are online and in operation,
office employees work there, so I have no right to make a mistake.

The third (pve - for backups is free for experiments)

Then I decided to try Truenas.

I started trying. Creating a Truenas VM on the third pve - but…

I watched dozens of videos on YouTube, for everyone, installing Truenas takes a few minutes.

And people get two addresses:
http (it is not clear what it is for)
and https:// for accessing Truenas

I have already tried to create probably 7 or 10 - virtual machines with Truenas and always
Two problems:
1) Error: vmware-checkvm must be run inside a virtual machine on a VMware hypervisor product.
(I created it differently, tried to experiment) - still the same error.

2) In all video instructions after installing Truenas people were given two IP addresses
and I was given this:

http://0.0.0.0
https://0.0.0.0

I don’t understand what can be done, I’m already panicking.
Please somebody help.

I can be fired at any moment.

Why are you installing TrueNAS? It is tricky to get right on Proxmox or run as a VM. It is usually better installed on bare metal.

You have to set it up to pass the entire controller (HBA) with the disks attached to TrueNAS. TrueNAS needs and wants direct access and control. The same happens for the TrueNAS boot disk. It has to be protected from Proxmox accessing it.

The vmware-checkvm error, just ignore that in the console messages. It’s a normal error and, maybe, goes away if running on vmware.

If you are getting those two addresses for the TrueNAS gui, I am guessing you don’t have the networking setup up correctly on TrueNAS.
