qBittorrent Plugin does not start

Probably pkg update && pkg upgrade from the command line. This will update the pkg repo in your jail, then update any packages you have installed.

After that you should restart your jail.

I am using the PMS_Updater.sh script that runs bi-weekly in the Jail. Has been running flawlessly except 1 hickup for about 2 year now.

Spelt out properly so I canā€™t make a mistake?
Sorry, slow over here.

What is the login/password to enter qbittorrent from web interface?

They changed how they do things. See the above link.

Failed to start ;o

Share log :grimacing:

Donā€™t know how

Do all I have to do is go into the jail and run?

fetch https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mstinaff/PMS_Updater/master/PMS_Updater.sh

My plex plugin ainā€™t in a manual jail, but still working from the plugin.

if you follow victor tips, the log file has been generated in /tmp as rc.log. So just open it with a text editor (if you have permission) or open it via shell with nano /tmp/rc.log (or ee /tmp/rc.log, vi /tmp/rc.log if you donā€™t have nano installed)

this is just a part of the log (662 lines), honestly i donā€™t see anything in this part can help debug

Are you sure you added the line to the qbittorrent file?

Yes we probably need to see the full file.

Not sure how at this point

Install something like Putty for use console (integrated Shell Is painful, and copy paste Is pretty impossibleā€¦) so you will be able to share all the file!
Enabled SSH service ā†’

iocage console < jail name >

Alternative solution:
I just reverted a snapshot - and it all works. Plugin setup, not a custom jail. I mean, this is exactly why snapshots exist.

How are you going to keep qBittorrent updated then?

Weā€™re at version 5.0.0 now.

I do not see the need for that as of now: Qbittorrent : Security vulnerabilities, CVEs
And in the future, if such a need arises, Iā€™ll dedicate the time to learn the right approach and follow with it. As of now, the goal was to get the system back to work, not to future-proof it. It feels the OP had the same situation.

Bump. The qbittorrent plugin has been updated to 5.0.1 but every update after 4.6.5 is broken and the qbittorrent service fails to start with libQt6Xml.so.6: Undefined symbol ā€œ_ZTVNSt3__13pmr25monotonic_buffer_resourceE

Running Core 13.3 and other plugins such as Prowlarr update themselves perfectly fine, so how do you fix this pluginā€™s error?

We arenā€™t sure how to tell you, but plugins are still dead. Iā€™m surprised they even bother to update some of them, since it just prolongs the agony.

Iā€™d recommend either a move to SCALE, or try installing qbitorrent in a manual jail.
