QEMU Guest Agent on TrueNAS SCALE in Proxmox

Is it possible to install and configure the QEMU Guest Agent on a TrueNAS SCALE virtual machine running in Proxmox? If so, what are the necessary steps to enable it and ensure proper functionality?

Same question here, with TrueNas scale 25 running on a VM in promox.
The reason I need Qemu-ga working is to enable backup of VM from a shadow copy / snapshot while it is running and to enable easy shutdown, reboot…etc.

The guest agent is already included in SCALE; you don’t need to do anything.

Yes, may be you just need to enable it in options of the vm.
