I have some technical questions about 2.5" hard drives:
When they are inside a USB 3.0 enclosure case and I use the Windows command to eject “safely remove hardware”, the letter E: in Windows disappears and the USB3.0 cable remains connected to the enclosure case/PC after ejection by Windows, what is the position and situation of the read and write heads and magnetic disks after ejection in Windows, keeping the USB cable connected?
Do the model, brand and chip of the USB3.0 enclosure case and the Windows power settings affect what will happen after ejection by Windows, keeping the USB3.0 cable connected to the PC/enclosure?
i use Windows 10, enclosure cases Orico 25PW1 black and chinese Kesu 2530 and the hdds were manufactured between 2011-2013 Western Digital WDC WD10JPVX-08JC3T5, HGST APPLE HDD HTS541010A99E662 and Seagate ST500LM030 manufactered 2016
