Does the Truenas Core base system need to have fsck run on it after a power outage … I know that the pools are ZFS and a scrub was done but don’t know about the base system I think is on a standalone drive …
thanks

The boot-pool (which the OS resides) is also ZFS.
There is no “fsck”, and being that ZFS is a copy-on-write filesystem, the state of the filesystem remains uncorrupted, even in the event of loss of power.
You can still force a scrub on the boot-pool with:
zpool scrub boot-pool
But it’s likely not even necessary.
And the boot partitions (efi etc) shouldn’t be modified during regular use, so shouldn’t be affected by power cuts either.
thanks for the help …
I think the “Solution” button is bugged.
If you click on it at the bottom of my first reply, does it actually work?
Just making sure the forum software is not broken again.
