I did a complete change of disks in my TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.2, and recovered all the data from a read-only backup (made with ZFS replication). The replication task has now completed, and all the data appears to be in place. The problem is now that I can’t point the Applications Pool to the recovered data, because it says the filesystem is read-only:
[Errno 30] Read-only file system: ‘/mnt/DataSphere/ix-applications/k3s/server/cred/scheduler.kubeconfig’
Any suggestions/ideas short of recreating all the apps and their configs?
You should be able to edit the ix-applications dataset and set read-only to off.
Dataset Details → Edit → Advanced Options → Read-only → Inherit (OFF) / Off

Ah, thanks. That was the first step towards the solution! Then I had to follow the solution to that other problem: SOLVED: Apps fail to start after restoring a pool or hardware change
But yes, I can finally see the apps
