Remove SPARE Disk from a RaidZ1

Hello everybody!
I have a RaidZ1 with 4 3TB disk and additional a 3TB spare disk. Can I remove the Spare Disk without any impact for the data on the RaidZ1 and can I do this on a running system? (Except that I don’t have a spare disk anymore )
I have found the remove command in the web interface, but I am unsure what impact this will have.
Thank you for your feedback!

The spare is not actually part of the raidz1, if you can confirm that it is a “spare”

Maybe post your zpool status results just to confirm.

Yes, you should be able to just remove it. I think

Thanks you for you answer!

Here is the status:

Additional I see the message “Enable all features using ‘zpool upgrade’”
Can I enable this without any concerns?

Best not to. You will disable backwark compatability.

If you ever do, do NOT do it on the boot pool.

If you upgrade the data pool you will not be able to downgrade to Bluefin (not a problem) or Core. (Maybe a problem)

Don’t upgrade your boot pool though.
