Samba global auxiliary parameters randomly disappearing

I’m still running Blue Fin. I have a couple couple “auxiliary parameters” defined at the SMB service (global) level. At that level, I’m setting “smb encrypt = required” and “hosts allow = 10.0.0.0/24”. When first setting those parameters, and saving them, the settings will appear in “testparm -v”. However, if I don’t change anything, but just click on “Save” again, the parameters are no longer set in the configuration (they still appear in the GUI). Using “net conf getparm” doesn’t show them being set in the Samba registry. Has anyone else encountered this?
