  1. Seems like NIC didn’t get the same IP.
  2. Seems like NIC is not a part of the bridge anymore.
  3. Is your bridge really called bro now? Or did you edit the output somehow?

Unfortunately, both points 1 and 2 are incorrect - the NIC is a part of br0 and it did get the IP from the router’s perspective. Don’t know why and how, but that’s the effect.

How do you know that? ip a didn’t show that.

The router’s perspective is negligible, as long as NICs/bridges have no DHCP activated.

I know that because I checked. The router’s perspective might or might not be important, but the fact remains when this happens, there’s no communication through the NIC.

Welp, I would trust ip a better. Because AIUI TrueNAS console is just a wrapper.

Do you have any suggestion where this bro interface came from? Or what happened to br0?
