I have a Truenas Mini R and the last couple of times I have turned it on its loaded and then locked up … Normally on a windows computer I would check a SFC and Chkdsk … But as I am new to Truenas I don’t know if those commands exist …
So could you use some advice and help … Thanks …
They don’t. Based on what you’ve posted, I’d guess your boot device has failed–but what exactly happens when it “locks up,” and when does it do this?
In addition to Dan’s info request answer, it may be useful if you correct your signature info about your system - your Mini R configuration and OS.
Sorry , I fixed my Sig as that was my old setup …
When I say lockup … the keyboard I have hooked up to it doesn’t work and I cant access it via network … So I have to power it off by holding the power button until it turns off … then wait and turn it back on and then its good …
Anything on the screen?
Yes Dan … it boots up to the normal menu screen … with the console settings and ip address …
