With Win11 24H2, accessing smb shares requires the nas to have encryption enabled Accessing a third-party NAS with SMB in Windows 11 24H2 may fail - Microsoft Community Hub

I have found the details on how to do this with core, you add settings to the auxiliary parameters

Under scale, smb settings do not have auxiliary parameters - does this means smb encryption is already enabled ?

Encryption has been enabled in TrueNAS for ages (IIRC it goes back to 9). We allow clients to auto-negotiate.
