Troubleshooting corrupt plex db, but sqlite gets killed immediately

Attempting to run the commands in the guide → Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support

"Plex SQLite" com.plexapp.plugins.library.db

However for some reason before I can run ```
PRAGMA integrity_check;

I guess I cannot salvage this

Agreed, database file is very broken.

While it’s possible that you could recover some of the data from it, because it’s Plex I would encourage you to just bite the bullet and start fresh.

Do you have any sense of how this happened, what went wrong in the first place? Is this Plex on a bare-metal TrueNAS system?

WHy not close recent snaps to a new dataset and try to spin them up see if any of them is not corrupted

Power outage, UPS ran out of juice while I was away

i tried to cp com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-2024-08-15 com.plexapp.plugins.library.db

Plex starts but all the meta data is gone…

Can’t help with Plex, but you should configure your UPS service to shutdown truenas on power outage, not just go until it runs out.
