When configuring backup tasks using TrueCloud, there are two advanced settings that confuse me: The Take Snapshot and Use Absolute Path.
In a forum thread earlier this year, @smione shared one interpretation of the setting: That it’s about making sure you backup a freezed state of the dataset. Is that correct? If so, for what kind of data does it make sense/no sense to take a snapshot before backing up?
For the path options, I can’t find any discussions at all around the forums, and the docs doesn’t provide much more beyond the info in the UI.
