That part however is odd - rolling back to previous boot version fix it it by chance? I have my own qualms with v25, but your system is colouring outside the lines of what is recommended therefor difficult to blame version update beyond doubt. Might be worth a separate thread.
A lot of recommendations are not just for ‘what will work’, but what will continue to work even if something goes wrong and/or maximize odds of recovery.
