The TrueNAS team is pleased to release TrueNAS 25.10.0.1! This is a maintenance release that includes fixes to SMB shares, application management, cloud sync operations, and error handling. 25.10.0.1 Notable changes: Fixes an SMB2 query directory with SMB_REOPEN flag issue ( NAS-138259 ). I think some extra prominence for the Software Status link on the download page would be very helpful to mitigate against this fairly easy mistake being made

Interesting how version 13.0-U6.7 is by FAR the most popular, when it’s so old, and 25.04.2.6 is so unpopular. /s

Lol - yeah some better colour variety in the bar chart may have been better. Or maybe core is still the most popular; @winnielinnie will be so happy.

[image] Fleshmauler: Or maybe core is still the most popular; FYI… CORE is about 27% of systems still and dropping slowly by about 7% a year. It’s still a fine and reliable OS if you don’t need Apps and VMs. If a NAS is 5 years old, it’s probably not going to upgrade. It will just retire-in…

[image] TheColin21: I personally find this quite confusing. “Stable vs Legacy” is something quite different from “Early Adopter vs General or Mission Critical”. Agree… we really prefer that everyone reviews the Software status page. That has the right nuance and dynamically changes status bas…

No - you cant say in my world a chair is a table, just check the software status page. You are part of a software world where words have certain meanings. I want to see your face if the upstream projects you rely on, suddenly do what they deem fit and release betas as relases. The result would be ch…

[image] brucie: I find the reluctance to acknowledge this quite irritating tbh. The word you’re looking for is “dishonesty.”

Does that mean you’re going to change the description on the download page?
