I am more than aware of that setting, and despite what you think it does, it still shows as failed in the per-device detailed screen even if one toggles that setting.
That is also a global setting not a per drive setting - guess you didn’t see my requirements of needing a per device option.
Its a scuitny bug based on strange behaviour across multiple segate models and decades. On seagate this is not a failure and should not be marked as a failure.
