Hello,
I have a strange issue accessing TrueNAS Core Web UI from one specific system. This system is a Windows Server 2012 R2, fully patched and up to date, running as a VM on my TrueNAS server. Currently, my mode of remote administration of my NAS has to be via remote access of this VM. This VM accesses all other content correctly such as my Web interfaces for Sonarr, Radarr, SAB. Every other system on the local network accesses the Web UI for TrueNAS correctly, no issues. I have tried multiple browsers, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera… all give the same issues.
The issue is, the TrueNAS web UI fails to completely load correctly. I attempted to include screenshots but was given the message that I can’t embed images in a post. Basically, many images and buttons do not load correctly. You’ll see large subject alternative text rather than the menu items. Some images load such as graphs on the dashboard.
Once logged in, everything is slow as it seems its trying to load all the content but it just never does. And like I mentioned, everything loads quickly and correctly from any other system I access the Web UI from. Unfortunately right now I need to use this method to administer my nas as I don’t have another system dedicated to be able to do this from. Also, I’m working out some issues with my new fiber ISP currently that prevents me from running VPN as this would be my preferred method of remote access.
I don’t want to run a second Windows VM on my nas due to resources and I need to keep running this one because its a domain controller.
Has anyone expeirenced this from Server 2012 R2 before?
