TrueNas Core Grafana/InfluxDB - login to InfluxDB UI doesn't work but data loads do

I have been using the Jail for Grafana with Influx for years. I never tried to login to the actual UI for InfluxDB as I have always used the command line.

“404 Page Not Found Error”

From the Shell I type “influx” and it gives me http://localhost:8086 and a prompt and works fine. Data loads fine to the 10.x.x.x:8086 but when I try a browser to the 10.x.x.x:8086 I just get “404 Page Not Found Error”.

What am I missing?

As far as I know InfluxDB 1.x does not come with a web UI.

Thanks, I didn’t even check the version and you are correct. I fired up Influxdb 2.7 on my Truenas Scale box and low and behold…it works just fine.
