I had a MB failure on my TrueNAS Mini-X. I ordered a new MB from iXsystems, and swapped it out. Got the system back up and running, but now on the Dashboard “System Information” tile, the Platform shows Generic, the Serial Number doesn’t show up at all, and I’ve lost the “View Enclosure” functionality.
I assumed a MB replacement from iXsystems would be swap in place, but apparently this info was lost in the process.
System > Support shows:
Model: To Be Filled By O.E.M
Serial Number: To Be Filled By O.E.M
Does anyone know how to populate this information so I can possibly fix this cosmetic issue? I have the info that needs to be populated in those fields, and I’m assuming that would address the “View Enclosure” functionality as well.
Any ideas?
