TrueNas on pentium 4

I want to play with this really old pc is there an iso ?

Does the PC meet the minimum standards?

nope i need an older version

I would find another use for that computer, if possible. Earliest version I saw docs on had 6GB min RAM. You may be able install and run the software but I don’t know if it will crash, etc.

TrueNAS (and FreeNAS before it) hasn’t appreciably changed its system requirements in 15 years; your Pentium 4 is more useful as a space heater than as a NAS. This series of CPU is 25 years old at this point (and was discontinued in 2008); it’s high time to retire it from active use.

If you absolutely insist on using it as a NAS, you’d probably be better served by XigmaNAS.

I recommend to build a Retro gaming PC from that machine.
If you are lucky, you can dumpster dive like a much better PC for playing around a NAS system.
(like a 4th+gen Intel CPU system. Those use DDR3 RAM, usually they can handle 16-32GB of it, and currently DDR3 RAM is dirt cheap and available even brand new for this price. For a couple of tens of buck, you can upgrade the CPU for an i7 (non K) that has 4 cores,8 threads clocks up to 4GHz easily, instead of the P4s single core, 2,8-3GHz clock.
