I have a TN Scale with a SSD Bootdiesk, 5 x 4TB Harddisks and a nvme Cachedisk.
With the 5 x 4TB disks in Raidz1 I have a total usable space of 13TiB (14TB). I lose a lot of disk space. Is it the same for you? With Raid5 I would have 16TB minus disk format in a HW Raid.
Am I doing something wrong?
What about RaidZ1 with multiple disks?

Other than using 4 TB spinners (far too small to be worthwhile IMO), no. ZFS also takes space for disk formatting, reserved space, etc. A loss of about 10% isn’t surprising.
What about it? That’s what you’re doing. Or do you mean something different by this?
Did you use RaidZ Expansion?
