TrueNAS SCALE as a virtualization host. Am i cooking it wrong?

In Proxmox it’s one-liner: qm importdisk VMid VMDKfile zvolume --format raw.

It’s one line in TrueNAS too.

How to install VirtualBox inside of TrueNAS?

You can convert a VMDK to a ZVol on Scale using qemu-img qemu-img convert mydisk.vmdk -O raw /dev/zvol/path/to/zvol If you need to use Core, I guess there’s probably a way.

Would be nicer if it was zero lines.
