First happened after doing a fresh installation of 24.10.2, where it asks you to please eject your boot media and restart.

I was installing 24.10.2 on the same boot disk as my previous TrueNAS install.

My problem was solved by enable ErP ( Energy Efficient Power) in the power tab in MB BIOS settings ( for my case Gigabyte ).
My problem was solved by enabling ErP (Energy Efficient Power) in the Power tab of the motherboard BIOS settings (in my case, a Gigabyte motherboard).

After trying multiple solutions in TrueNAS without success, I decided to install Unraid, but I encountered the same power-on issue. I searched the Unraid forums and discovered that the problem was caused by the PSU automatically powering on the NAS. The solution was to enable ErP in the BIOS settings.

After applying this fix, I tried TrueNAS again, and it worked fine. However, the NAS only fully shuts down when selecting specific shutdown reasons, such as Hardware Change or certain other options—not all shutdown reasons result in a full shutdown.
