Trying to migrate Windows vm from unraid

I have a Windows vm that I ran in unraid for the last 2-3 years. I created a zvol and used dd to move the contents of the vdisk1.img file over to the zvol. I created a vm (what the heck is that 10gig root disk it insists on creating?) and attached nay zvol. It doesn’t get past the uefi screen complaining it can’t see any disks. How is this supposed to work?

I had this issue, somehow the migrated disk was last in the boot order, after the network boot. So I just waited and waited (many minutes) and eventually it booted.

That’s not working for me. the UEFI shell sees 2 drives. I guess the first one is the 10gig root disk. No idea what that is. It refuses to boot from either one. were you using virtio-scsi or virtio-blk? Did you vm image come from unraid? IF so, what dd command did you use to create the zvol?

I misread your problem, I thought this was a 24.x migration issue not unraid. does this link help? If not can you screenshot the error?
