Unable to Install any New Apps

I can’t install any apps at this point. The problem persists after reboot. I discovered this as I was troubleshooting allocating my GPU to Jellyfin and Plex. I wiped both apps, and when I go to re-install them I get the same error messages for Plex and Jelly Fin. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

edit1: Here’s a grab from my system alerts. It looks like I can’t sync my local application catalog with the online repository.

edit2: I thought it might be releated somehow to Pi-hole since I just enabled that, but I just disabled ad blocking for it and still can’t install anything.

Seriously - some information would be helpful

More than this comment, for sure.

I’m going to guess connectivity or DNS issue based on the available info.

Do you DNSsec might be the culprit?

The catalog isn’t syncing, which will prevent you from installing apps.

If there is an issue with your system finding or connecting to the catalog, it will fail to sync.

I reverted my DNS on my router back to ISP settings and rebooted. I checked in the TrueNAS settings and the DNS is still pointed at the router (196.168.1.1, same as it was before). No change, still can’t install or update apps. Troubleshooting continues.

edit 1: I’m now able to install apps from the online catalog. Back to troubleshooting my original issue.

What happened between these two comments?

If someone else stumbles across this post in the far future it’s possible they will find the answer helpful.

Thanks for reminding me! So, part of my problem was with with Pi-hole, for some reason. After reverting my router DNS to the commercial ISP, everything came back in. After confirming functionality, I re-introduced my Pi-hole DNS with Google’s (8.8.8.8.) as back up. I think my problem could have easily been the need to reboot my router.
