We are considering to connect two arrays of 8 disks - maybe that is what the two chipsets are built for? Unsure though, feel free to enlighten me and thanks for that insight already!
Yes the 8TB disks may become part of that, and the 18TB disks are the existing ones.
Since our total current data adds up to only around 60TB, we can easily migrate by moving back and forth between the arrays.
Would love an elaboration on this, not quite sure what you mean.
