I have configured a UPS to shutdown my TrueNAS server and when testing it, by pulling the plug from the wall and placing the UPS on battery, the system doesn’t react to the change. It should log that the system is on battery and alert.
I have spent a few days on the issue. Email alerts are configured correctly and TrueNAS can see the UPS just fine (verified through the shell).
Any ideas?
I also think that something is wrong somewhere since I keep receiving this error in the long even though the UPS service is turned off temporarily:
nut plugin: nut_connect: upscli_connect (localhost, 3493) failed: Connection failure: Connection refused
I don’t think this should be showing in my logs (every 5 minutes) when the UPS service is turned off?
