Hello all. I’ve seen truenas many years ago. Now i have installed Truenas Core on a Dell server T620.
I can acces Truenas via dhcp. But I also configured a static ip. Saved, but after a reboot i can no longer login via the static ip. It seems it’s not holding the information (and yes i am quite sure i clicked “save”.
Also i made a user “admin”.gave it a password. and once again click save. But i can’t login with that account. Password seems to be incorrect. I only can use root to login. Is this normal behaviour ?
There’s also a problem with igbo. My first ethernet adpter. Ater a Truenas reboot i seen on the console: the web access can not be accessed. The web user interface is at ip address 0.0.0.0 ? what does this mean ???
For CORE, yes. The only user that can log in to the web GUI is root
.
iX has been recommending SCALE for new deployments for over a year now; CORE is all but EOL.
Ah ok. then i shall not put more work and effort in this version. I will look to Truenas scale thanx
