Yesterday our Grandstream UCM has died after years of service.
Instead of buying a new one, i was wondering if there’s any way to place a voip app like asterisk on my truenas scale server.

You can run whatever you like in a VM. You might want to look into IncrediblePBX:

update: i tried several solutions, but ended up with a new UCM6304.
Reasons are: dedicated hardware, i’m free to shut down all other systems in the network and having it always online, simple to deploy and Grandstream ecosystem with their IP Phones and wave app.
But when i will have time i can look into something to deploy directly on truenas.
