Wakeonlan sent from Scale?

I spent so long getting everything else working, I just assumed that Wake-on-LAN would be the easy part as I use it all the time from my desktop (Linux).

Then I got to issuing the command and boom, no. Don’t have wakeonlan at all, can’t install anything on scale. Tried other commands like etherwake but no.

How do I send a Wake-on-LAN packet from Scale?

I ended up building a docker, a whole (kinda) OS just to issue a single command ^^

Maybe there are much better ways and i love to hear them.

There are WoL-apps in the form of python scripts and such.

Here’s one example you can see as a proof of concept, I haven’t tested it myself:
