After upgrading from TrueNAS Core to Scale, I have added each Syncthing folder back, mostly with success.
I have an entire drive that I am syncing between Windows and TrueNAS with ~2.7TB worth of files:
However, this base folder was not properly detected. I only notice this after I realize TrueNAS started syncing all the files over from the Windows side, and I caught it after about 30gb of files:
I have windows SMB for this dataset and I can see all the files/folders from windows. In fact, all the subfolders are syncing up just fine (eg. /Music). These folders are ignored in my main folder sync so there’s no conflict.
I figure if it’s something broader pathing issue, my subfolders would also not be detected.
I am thinking of deleting Syncthing app and restarting from scratch but not idea what could have caused this.
