25.04.2.4.2 causes system to shutdown at exactly 30 minutes

I just upgraded from 24.04.2 to 25.04.2.4.2. This system has been rock solid with no issues at all running 24/7. After the upgrade my SSH connections started failing due to some AUX parameters that were set. While trying to sort this out the system would shut off. Nothing in logs I can see. At first, I thought it was random, but I put it on a timer and it’s every 30 minutes EXACTLY.

I reset the CMOS, turned off all C6 states and other PM features in the BIOS. I tried two different PSU and disconnecting/reconnecting hardware. I’m down to just a MB, RAM, and my SSD boot pool and it’s still happening.

At this point I’m suspecting TrueNAS, but it could be a fluke of hardware. However, I see some older threads about it.

Hi, I’ve been tied up with home repair projects and am not sure how long this has been going on, but I noticed today that my machine is turning off and rebooting every 30 minutes or so. I’d appreciate any advice on what to look at first to diagnose what’s going on and troubleshoot it. [image]

Just to follow-up on this one. I have no idea what caused the issue, but after seven tests of it shutting off at 30m it now runs fine. I disabled everything in the BIOS and the last setting I recall changing was some thermal CPU protection, but the CPU never went over 30c. In any case, writing this for any future readers who may experience something similar.
