Accessing Log Files - Permission Denied

I am new to TrueNAS Scale. I have it installed on a home built NAS. I searched these forums, but could not find any results that matched.

I am logged in as an administrator and while trying to install an app, I got an error. It told me to check the “/var/log/app_lifecycle.log” file. I go into the Shell (zsh) and type in cat /var/log/app_lifecycle.log and get a permission denied.
I do not understand this. My user is a “Full Admin”, I have all sudo commands (not that I think that matters). Why can’t I access the log files?

BTW, is there an app that can be installed to allow access to Logs without having to go to the Shell? Seems like that would be an important tool when managing the system.

TIA

Ok, added SUDO in front of the command and it worked. Duh! I will post elsewhere about the install.

Thanks
