Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a container I made that has allowed me to set up Tailscale and Caddy configured with Cloudflare DNS on my TrueNAS SCALE server.

I had A LOT of trouble with existing solutions for installing caddy on TrueNAS. I tried following this tutorial but I couldn’t get it to work no matter what I tried, so I made my own container! I’m new to Docker, so this was a great way to force myself to learn. The container works quite well for me now, and installs cleanly via “Install with YAML” on TrueNAS.

Hey just wanted so say thanks for this! It allowed me to get access to all of my app containers through my custom domain
