I recently upgraded from v24 to v25.04.1
I noticed that it did not automatically mount my old VM (no problem).
On the Instance “Select Pool” page, I tried both “Automatic” and manually picking the Bridge.
I tried leaving the IPv4 blank and also manually entering 10.0.1.0/24
When I click “Save”, the error is the same every time.
It says there is a conflict with an app that is using port 53. It does not matter if I use a completely different subnet or IP range (ie, native is 10.0.0.1, and I tried both 10.0.1.0 and 192.168.0.1)

I just found this YT vid, so I will give this a try.

That did it. I did not have to create a new IP as I could just choose an existing one from the Network section.
Two words of warning:
- Not all apps have the “Host IPs” option, and it worked fine
- Some apps have two options where each of which has to be set properly.
