Cannot load cloud.conf

New clean install of 25.10.4 I see see this in the logs;

netdata[3069]: CONFIG: cannot load cloud config '/var/lib/netdata/cloud.d/cloud.conf'. Running with internal defaults.

Anyone help me understand why this is coming up?

Having looked a little further I see the folder /var/lib/netdata is empty.

So question remains why is this coming up and what are the “internal defaults”?

So if it is not part of the default/standard install and is an option why is there the message?

Is this something that was not cleaned properly when netdata was moved out?

I did said most.

You can read an official statement at the top of this page:

In other words, parts of netdata is still there and used internally. The informational message you get in the log is not an error or a problem that you need to fix.
