Hi
Just testing scale 24.10.2 and keep getting the following message in the console:
CONFIG: cannot load cloud config ‘/var/lib/netdata/cloud.d/cloud.conf’. Running with internal defaults.
Dont want to run netdata.
Any way of stopping the message?
Ah ok I have now realised that netdata gets installed automatically as part of Scale (had to be loaded as plugin on Core).
Is there any way to remove/disable it(netdata)?
I don’t want or need it to be running.
wait 2 months for the release of fangtooth when netdata will get removed again.
Right now it’s used for as the reporting backend and i’d advise you not to remove it manually.
If this is going to be used I would like to suggest that the meters use the same scaling when shown side by side.
Its just very confusing in my opinion when the 2 meters are using different scaling (yes I know it does tell you the scale in the small print!)
Ok on further examination I have found the answer to my original question.
Neither the file nor the folder cloud.d exist.
I started this look at Scale with the objective of “upgrading” my Core server as it looks like I am going to have to at some point in the not too distant future if I want to stick with Truenas and I have some time now to do so.
On what I have seen so far I am going to wait it out a bit longer I think until Scale is a bit cleaner.
