Connected to wrong Active Directory - SMB share

Hello everyone.

System Setup
Dell R710 Server
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz (DUAL)
63.9GB Ram
Available Space: 6x2tb drives = 5.73TiB

Yesterday, I upgraded from Core to Scale. Later in the day, everything got messed up, and I lost access to the SMB shares connected through [Active Directory]

I reverted to the previous Core version and experienced other issues. After several attempts to get things back to normal, I finally got a stable working Core environment. (TrueNAS-13.0-U6.7)

Now, the issue I am facing is this.
When I access the share, it is not accessing the proper share.
Inside [Storage | Pools]

Poolname MainFolder Users
PoolName
DomainName
User1 (ORIGINAL Domain share is at) 1.06 TiB
User2 (ORIGINAL Domain share is at)
User1 (New share is at)
User2 (New share is at)

Yesterday, I had a similar issue when I upgraded from Core to Scale, and all I had to do was change the SMB Share to the proper Folder.

Sharing

Windows (SMB) Shares
Edit
Select “down to” the proper Folder for the shares.
[Save]

Refresh the Network or This PC on your computer.

However, that is not the case this time around.
Instead, I have a folder that has the following files inside.

  • .cshrc
  • .login
  • .login_conf
  • .mail_aliases
  • .mailrc
  • .profile
  • .shrc

What must I do to get my domain users into their assigned folders?

I set up FTP, so I am backing up everything now.

Once completed, I will install the latest stable version of TrueNas Scale.
Please advise me on which one is the best to use.

My Use Case.

  1. Storage for my network.
  2. Plex Server

And that is pretty much it.

There are just too many issues going on, including
ValueError: 30 is not a valid PoolStatus
When you try to access the drives.

Everything was running great until I upgraded from Core to Scale.
But I wanted to do the Plex, and Scale is needed for that to work.

==Update==
Setup FTP and am finishing up the backup as I type this.
Tomorrow morning, I will reinstall the system and redo the raid.
Hopefully no more issues like this will happen again.
I am going to install Dragonfish most recent stable release.

Wish me luck.
