Container fails but no alert?

I’ve got a handful of docker containers running in the “Apps” section of TrueNAS Scale 24.10.2.2, and occasionally they have errors and crash (for legitimate reasons).

But why don’t these crashes appear in the “Alerts” menu of the web gui and send me an email?

TrueNAS has always been great at putting errors/warnings/info into the Alerts menu, and even notifies me of updates to the “Apps”, so it seems a huge disparity that literal crashes don’t appear in Alerts.

Is this a bug? (If so, how do I report it)
Or is there some obscure setting somewhere I need to enable this?
Or has anyone else solved this problem/got any workaround to detect and notify in the event that one of my containers goes down?

System → alert settings
They are not so hide

I still prefer use uptime kuma: easy to use, lightweight, do his job flawlessy.
Instead of receiving an alert email, a push notification on my phone appear via a discord dedicated server; without pay anything and without using any fancy connector

Where in Alert Settings? I can see options for containers failing to start, needing upgrades, etc, but NOTHING that will trigger an alert for a failure…

You right, only the Catalog not healthy is exposed, i remember wrong. Apologize.

Anyway, this can’t be considered a bug, more a feature requests.
A reason more to evaluate something like uptime kuma
