Detecting if a TrueNAS App is in a crashed state and sending a Alert

I’m currently running TrueNAS 25.10.2.1.

Is there an alert that I can set if a TrueNAS App is in a “Crashed” state? I have a Plex instance running on my server. I run a script every morning to stop that Doctor instance, run a TAR script so that I can backup the database, then restart the Docker instance. However, twice already, my Plex instance was in a “Crashed” state and was not running. I was able to restart Plex.

Now, I have Taututil installed as well, and have modified the following from default 60 seconds:

I’m currently testing the settings now. However, am I overlooking an Sytem → Alert Setting:

Honestly i use uptime kuma to check if my service are up and running (despite rely on TN, if It really can). Is really easy to setup and pretty lightweight

I have Uptime Kuma also running, although I have also modified that monitor to give me an alert as well. The solutions are there, but the question remains: Is there an alert setting in TrueNAS for crashed Docker instances?

Apart from the “unable to start application” there doesn’t seem to be an alert for a crashed app or if an app is stuck in deploying.
