CPU allocation when installing apps

Hi!

Sorry if this was documented somewhere but I cannot find it.
My question is:
When installing a community/stable app on TrueNAS, the last options are CPU and RAM. The number entered in the CPU field indicates cores or threads? Example: I have an i5 10400F with 6 cores and 12 threads. When I enter the value 2 does it mean that it uses 2 cores and 4 threads or just two threads?

In Electric Eel, I believe it’s logical processors (threads)
Should be the same as this:
