Dockge + Qbittorrent + DHCP Setting Question

Need some help.

I followed this helpful video to get this working as my ISP has zero’d out my SOCKS5 connection speed with the catalog app:

However, I can’t seem to get past the “curl ip.me” part from the bash shell in the container. “Could not resolve host: ip.me” error.

Dockge shows the bittorrent client up and running, but I cannot access the web portal. I tried multiple ports but nothing. It just hangs. I don’t see anything being blocked by my firewall.

I am using OPNsense and all my DHCP setttings / gateways are working, and up until now I have never have a problem gettting an ip address anywhere in my network.

Does dockge need to be on a separate ip address to the Truenas instance? My Truenas has its own DHCP / gateway setting enabled?

Has anybody else figured this out? I suspect its because dockge is on the same ip address as Truenas and truenas hates this from previous experience.

Thanks!

Hi did you ever get this resolved? I am running into the same problem.

My fix was to put in the physical ip address of the PIA socks5 server address:

Specifically 109.201.152.174 or 109.201.152.175 worked best.

This solved all my problems until the change it again.
