Full Tower Case Recommendation

Hello. I’m currently using a SilverStone CS382 case with 8 spinning drives. In order to give my TrueNAS parts plenty of room for airflow, and drive expansion, I’m looking for a full tower case recommendation.

What I’ve looked at -

  • anidees AI Raider XL Full Tower Tempered Glass XL-ATX/E-ATX/ATX Gaming Case, Support 12 x 5.25” Drive Bay 480/360 Radiator, AI-RA-XL (PC Case ONLY)
  • anidees AI Crystal XL PRO LITE Full Tower Tempered Glass XL-ATX/E-ATX/ATX Gaming Case Support 480/360 Radiator, Optical Drive - AI-XL-PRO-LITE
  • Rosewill THOR NAS Pro - Full Tower Workstation Case | Server Chassis | Supports up to 8 3.5" Hot-Swap 3.5"/2.5" SATA/SAS and 2 2.5" SSD | E-ATX Compatible | 1x 140mm PWM Fan | USB 3.2 Type-C | AI, NAS

Anyone have a recommendation for a full tower case with plenty of room for airflow and drive expansion that I can mount a micro-ATX motherboard in? Thanks.

If you just want 8 hot-swap bays and enough space for a mATX motherboard, I recommend skipping the full tower case and getting a “Sagittarius” 8-bay NAS case from AliExpress. I have one of these and it’s great; it was cheap, and it’s the perfect size. Tower cases are huge, and the airflow in them isn’t that great for the drives either.
