[Help Needed Noob]

Hello and TIA,

I just installed TrueNAS baremetal on an old work pc. I put the 24.0.1 ISO file into BalenaEtcher and booted into it and installed TNScale via the gui onto my 500Gb NVMe.
Then I created a pool called ‘SLOW’ (3x13TB SAS drives running on a LSA-9211-8i HBA)

Then i created a user/group for myself and added those permissions to the following datasets along with apps full-control acl’s

Then i created some data sets:

  1. applications → for app configurations, then made a few folders underneath for each app i planned to install
  2. mediaserver → for smb/nfs for all movies, tv shows, audiobooks, etc and the matching folders underneath
  3. downloads
  4. clientbackups → then shares underneath for each device i plan to backup

Then I went to Dashboard->Apps and selected an app (AudiobookShelf) and use the folder (/mnt/slow/applications/audiobookshelf) to store ABS config and metadata in. Then i added additional storage and point that at my audiobook files located under the ~/mediaserver/audiobooks folder

made sure to select a couple cpu cores and 4096Mb ram selected and hit install

then a second later i get a popup that says:
[EFAULT] Docker service is not running

so i tried a different, Dashy, same process, same result.
I am posting a screen shot of the error.

I previously has HexOS installed and used a similar file structure (except not putting the apps in a dedicated dataset, just used ix-appstructure) and this worked just fine…
I just didn’t want the HexOS overhead so installed TNScale baremetal…

Can someone point me in the right direction? Did I forget to do something?

[SOLVED] Update:
I just rebooted the server, and now magically everything is working. Maybe a router firewall rule needed to be synced or something
I am just going to leave this here for someone else who may find themselves in the same situation
