I am a network guy. I am trying to wrap my head around how network works for APPs. Here is my config
I have Truenas addressed on a Bridge BR01 with an address in my home network of 192.168.18.2/24. I have installed an APP and when i look at it, it gives it an address of 172.16.3.2/24 with a default route of 172.16.3.1. Truensas ifconfig show an interface br-d58716a6a953 with an address of 172.16.3.1 and there is a route out that interface for the 3.0/24 subnet
How does all this tie together? How does it route? Beyond that how does it work when I assign it an alias does it have a go between for the address to the actual address?
